Today we visited the Davidson Institute for Science Educationn in the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot, Israel.
Since one of SpaceIL's missions is to reach out to the children of Israel, we felt that the Davidson center, with its ongoing scientific programs for teenagers and youth, would be an excellent partner.
In the next few months, the children of Israel will hear about SpaceIL from various media channels. Our goal is to make them interested in hearing more about SpaceIL and science in general. From there, we plan on channeling their enthusiasm into existing educational programs.
For us, it is not enough to expose new children into the world of science and space, it is also vital to make this new connection a sustainable one.
We hope that together with our educational partners, we can make this sustainable connection a reality.
