Today, March 17th 2011 is a great day: we celebrate Italy’s 150th year of unification! For this anniversary, the Italian President, Giorgio Napolitano, has given to the Italian (and European) astronaut, Col. Roberto Vittori, an Italian flag to take to the ISS when he will be in space, next April with Space Shuttle Endeavour.

We of Team Italia are very proud to have the opportunity to give to our Country the possibility to send on more Italian flag in space: up to the moon.
