Google Lunar X PRIZE Team SYNERGY MOON boasts two nominees for World Technology Awards! SYNERGY MOON Team Leader Kevin Myrick, Founder of InterPlanetary Ventures, and Roderick Milliron, Founder of Interorbital Systems, and SYNERGY MOON’s Lunar Rocket and Lunar Lander Designer, have received word that they have been nominated for the awards. Slated for presentation this July at a New York City gala, the awards are given based on the votes of scientific peers, and former award winners, through the World Technology Network (in association with TIME, SCIENCE, and FORTUNE Magazines, the AAAS, and the New York Academy of Sciences). Nominees Myrick and Milliron plan to combine the East Coast trip with an appearance at the Nikola Tesla Conference at Philadelphia’s Independence Hall, where they will join other SYNERGY MOON team members, including Program Manager Boris Petrovic, a relative of Tesla. Synergy Moon’s rover, which bears the name TESLA, will be on display at the event.
