Stopover in London

I had a one night stopover in London after leaving the Isle of Man, which gave me the opportunity to meet with one of our UK based partners. I met with Anna Hill of Space Synapse outside the London Bridge Experience. We had just enough time to sit in a café on the Thames, have a snack and discuss Space 2.0, Space for Everyone. Anna has a unique vision for bringing the sensory experience of space to people on earth thru personal sensory devices like Remote Suits, and VR booths like the Ovei Pods, and thru shared experiences like Planetarium shows and 3D video. The impressions and sensations come from the same data collected by instruments and sensors and used for scientific evaluations and explorations of the space environment, embedded in specialized probes imagined by Anna called Symbiotic Spheres. The data is processed, reformatted and translated by artist/engineers into sensory inputs that allow people to experience the wonders of space exploration with their own human senses. People will be able to participate in the explorations and adventures of space exploration, and make their own observations and discoveries based on the sensory platform we are all most familiar with, our own human senses. This collaboration of Space Synapse and Synergy Moon is just one of the many ways Space 2.0 is making space available and accessible to everyone.

Visit the Space Synapse site for more information about their projects.
