Our stated goal at InterPlanetary Ventures is "to create the terrestrial and space based infrastructure required to support humanity's permanent expansion into the bountiful reaches of our solar system." We brought that with us to Synergy Moon. With that in mind, our original plans for this X PRIZE mission are 'lofty'. We will get to the moon, but maybe not exactly the way we plan. Anyway, here is what we intend to do along the way.
Build a Spaceport with Interorbital Systems on the isle of Eua, in the Kingdom of Tonga.
Build Development & Operations Control Centers with Saber Astronautics in North America, South America, Europe and Australia.
Build a new launch system with Interorbital Systems to provide Cheap Access To Space.
Build a Space Tug with Saber Astronautics that can take payloads from Earth orbit to Lunar orbit, or to an asteroid and back.
Build a Lunar Lander with the Laboratory of Advanced Jet Propulsions using new hybrid rocket fuel.
Deploy microsat(s) in lunar orbit.
Build a four wheel rover and a spherical rover and deploy them on the moon.
Build and deploy seismic sensors on the moon.
Create lunar art using light and the wonders of chemistry.
Create a participatory exploration system to allow anyone to join in on the activities of our space based explorers.
Lofty goals indeed, but if as they say it's all about the journey, then it's better to place the destination way out there to keep the journey interesting and full of possibilities. Lets just see how many of these we reach on our way to the moon.
