Mike Vucelich, who led the Apollo XIII rescue mission,is a Serbian engineer born in Croatia. His US Space experience includes work at North American, Rockwell, and NASA, until he retired after the last successful Apollo/Soyuz mission. He worked with with Wernher von Braun, Kurt Debus, and other NASA greats, and now is successful and honored businessman. Earlier this month, he visited the facilities of Interobital Systems in Mojave. Accompanied by his long-time friend, engineer from his Rockwell/NASA days, Harry Scott, and leaders of the GLXP Team SYNERGY MOON, he had a warm welcome from Interorbital Systems' executives Randa and Roderick Milliron.
After visiting the lab where IOS is building the CPM-TV rocket, and viewing the engine test sites, Mike was deeply interested in hearing the details of how Interorbital intends to become the second private company to reach LEO with a launch vehicle originally engineered and built completely independently of government funding, he expressed his satisfaction at what he had seen.

“I was skeptical about the New Space Industry and decided to personally investigate and assess it. I am very satisfied with what I found, particularly with the approach and advances in the development of rocket systems by Interorbital Systems, SYNERGY MOON’s launch provider. I wish them all the best in further efforts to launch, build, and dedicate a sustainable business for the exploration and exploitation of Space, Low Earth Orbit, and beyond.” - Mike Vucelich commented. In talks with the leadership of the GLXP Team SYNERGY MOON, he expressed hope that the team would not only reach Earth’s only natural satellite, but also surpass the successes that his own generation of engineers achieved. He gladly accepted the position of advisor for SYNERGY MOON, stating that he would like to help and do his part in any possible way to assist Team SYNERGY MOON in reaching its goal.
