SYNERGY MOON’s launch provider Interorbital Systems announced a new and exciting addition to the growing list of payloads manifested on the maiden flight of its NEPTUNE 30 orbital rocket: Google Lunar X PRIZE Team Euroluna’s double CubeSat MiniRomit1. The Danish team’s spacecraft will join two other CubeSats and 26 TubeSats on the N30’s first orbital flight from the Kingdom of Tonga, scheduled for December of 2010. Interorbital is currently building a portable launch system and a CPM (Common Propulsion Module) for a series of suborbital test flights set to begin in the Mojave Desert in May. The N30 is an assembly of five CPMs that will carry its cargo of small satellites to a 310km circular polar orbit. See the Euroluna www.euroluna.dk and Interorbital www.interorbital.com websites for details about the satellite and the South Pacific launch.
