On May 18, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev held a big press conference at the Moscow School of Management (SKOLKOVO). The event attracted more than 800 accredited journalists, including 300 members of the foreign press. The Russian mass media was very well represented with TV, radio and online media reporters in attendance, along with more than 40 photographers.

In response to reporters' question, the President addressed many pressing issues including economic development and modernization, domestic and foreign policy as well as Russia's scientific and technological objectives.
At the same time, SKOLKOVO held an exhibition of projects that benefit from the support of the Skolkovo Innovation Center which is known as the Russian Silicon Valley.

This proved to be an excellent opportunity for Selenokhod Ltd. to update the media on the team's progress. The only Russian participant in the Google Lunar X PRIZE contest, Team Selenokhod presented technical data on its recently created walking robot, and provided an overview of its expertise in space robotics, while allowing the media to become familiar with its business plan and better understand the innovative technologies which will soon be commercialized as the company matures.
