High altitude balloon launch on September 18, 2010

We will launch our high altitude balloon tomorrow on a military area nearby Nanjing. The payload will be lifted by two hydrogen neoprene balloons. We will have a synchronous real-time downlink of 3 cameras, pressure, temperature and radiation data via WLAN. One camera points upwards to the balloons and captures their expansion and finally destruction.

We still have to program and test the whole night to make it happen tomorrow.

Weather balloon launch postponed to September 19 due to software problems. Conducted tests at the launch site. The weather balloon launch personnel were concerned that we would need two of their ballons to lift our payload. There was no basis for this concern.
