Our very young Rocket City Space Pioneers website has made a great deal of progress in a short time, with most of the credit going to Michael Thoenes, a very creative designer in our Marketing Communications Department at Dynetics.
Michael has had a passion for the Google Lunar X PRIZE project from the beginning and set out to accomplish some goals with our website.
We are ranked in the Top 5 among the GLXP teams by Alexa, and we have had considerable growth during the short time the site has been live.
Michael went about assigning articles early on to volunteer writers to make the site content rich. We have a long way to go, but we are working on it.
Of course, Michael is not the only one who has put many hours and hard work into the project. This effort has required the work of many people, people who have full-time jobs doing other things. What we have found is that people have a passion for going back to the Moon and making history. We appreciate the folks who have volunteered their time to write articles, speak to students, and work on the project in other ways.
We hope to see the excitement continue to grow and more people get involved!
