(Saturday Post)
Today the team is at Earthrise Space, Inc. headquarters working on a Saturday. The team enjoys devoting our weekends to the research and development of our GLXP project. Currently a majority of the team is working on separate tasks. Here is an update of the team’s work so far today:
Matt Fogel and Alberto Bird are currently doing a trade study on the current selection of the components for the LDV vs. the new technological components, including batteries, IMU's and x/ka amplifiers for the communications systems. Matt is working on the IMU for the LDV propulsion mock up. Marvin Tsoi is working on building the support structure design and framing for our rover, Sagan. Joe Palaia is currently machining the panels for our solar cells for our rover. And I am working on finding a better solid-state power amplifier for the LDV communications.
More updates to come…
