Today, I took a relaxing 3 hour drive to visit the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) to discuss the JURBAN Team and logistics for student involvement, internship opportunities, commercialization interests, and economic impact in their region.
UMES is very interested in working with the JURBAN team and we are committed to their mission.
UMES also has great hands-on activities for children interested in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) ranging from Balloon launches to Space camp.

Great Meeting
This was a great meeting. UMES gave us great insight on things we should think about and new ideas. I was also happy to see the iniatives they're taking to increase STEM interests. The video is great and very inspirational.
