Only July 16, JURBAN Team members will represent at the Africa Now conference.

I will be moderating a panel on entrepreneurship.

At the Africa Now conference, the vision is to create a "Silicon Valley" in Ghana. Ghana has secured hundreds of acres of land dedicated for a technology park.

The African Technology Conference is the vehicle they use to showcase the planning and development of this park. This first conference is dedicated to developing a strategy for successfully building this world-class technology park now, as they plan to "build technology for future generations".

JURBAN and it partnership with the African Space Science Network (ASSN) will start talks engaging Ghana and other interested African countries in contributing to the worldwide space industry and to include this activity on their technology park.

We hope that we will be able to start making innovative academic, commercialization, and policy contributions to Africa through our involvement in the Google Lunar X PRIZE.
