Tor Foss Mortensen, responsible for trajectory design software for Euroluna, is interviewed about his background, interests and work in the GLXP competion.

Instead of taking the short, direct route to the moon, fuel and cost may be saved by using more sophisticated techniques. We plan to use the moon itself for assistance to propulsion, and the Weak Stability Boundary to change the trajectory shape.

These techniques require precise calculations using advanced computational techniques, and excellent control over the craft.

The purpose of this strategy is to reduce costs to get higher winnings per invested buck.

This way the project becomes more feasible for us and possible investors.
