During the last two months, the Barcelona Moon Team established contact with leading universities, research groups and technological centres to present the Barcelona Moon Team initiative at the GLXP and raise awareness about the calls among the scientific and technological community.
Last visits include the Institute of Photonic Sciences (ICFO), the Communications and Robotics Research Group at La Salle and the Escola Universitaria d’Enginyers Tècnics Industrials de Barcelona, where the team presented the status of the competition and calls and answered questions raised by students and professors.
The response has been extremely positive with registrations from all over Europe but also from Asia and South America. Although the number of registered users is constantly increasing, the team does not stop and is planning other meetings and infodays.
The team has two calls for ideas and proposals open until the end of July to develop and experiment and a minirobot to bring onboard its rover. For more details please visit the news section at http://www.barcelonamoonteam.com/calls/
