Kids never lie

Barcelona Moon Team won today the “public’s prize” at the Team’s Summit currently going on at NASA Ames and the SETI Institute, thanks to the support we received by an amazing team of followers, Pi in the Sky.

Pi in the Sky is one of the 20 finalists of this year’s Moonbots competition. They are a team of three young scientists (rising fourth through sixth graders) who are entering the Moonbots competition for the first time. They are really excited about robotics, science, mathematics and technology and space exploration. They are based in McLean, Virginia.
Moonbots.org is a global educational contest organized by the X PRIZE Foundation and LEGO Group to challenge teams of youth to design, program, and construct robots that perform simulated lunar missions similar to those required to win the Google Lunar X PRIZE. The X PRIZE Foundation and the LEGO Group have partnered with WIRED magazine and FIRST robotics to offer a competition that will excite students and their families about the Moon, robotics, and team building.

Thank you Pi in the Sky! Good luck with Moonbots 2.0!
