Last week, Barcelona Moon Team was again in Madrid, to discuss cooperation with several aerospace companies in the region. The team also visited the National Institute for Aerospace Technology INTA, a public research organization attached to the Spanish Ministry of Defense. INTA carries out experimentation, research, certification and testing activities in materials, components, equipment, subsystems and systems, acting as laboratory, technological center and technical service for organizations and companies.
The team met with Jaime Denis, INTA’s director, and José Torres, director of the Space Department, and discussed the BMT initiative and future cooperation, including the use of the center’s clean rooms and void chambers to test the rover and lander modules.
