Again this summer, Barcelona Moon Team will participate at Space Camp Barcelona. This is a summer camp for children is between 8 to 12 years old passionate for science, space and technology. The Space Camp combines these fields of interest in a didactic way by playing in cooperation.
The Summer Camp Barcelona takes place during the last days of August and begining of September, in an ancient villa with astronomical equipment in the region of the Garraf, about 30 km from Barcelona. Children will learn about space, astronomy, robotic exploration missions, manned flight, space science, etc.
Some of the activities that take place in the summer camp are:
- To design and build a scaled spaceship.
- To taste the food that astronauts eat.
- To build a water propulsed rocket.
- To discover some of the astronaut training.
