…An astroroboticist! On Monday and Wednesday, the Astrobotic team invited preschoolers and kindergartners from the Carnegie Mellon Children’s School to learn about Red Rover, the Google Lunar X PRIZE mission, and space exploration. The children were taught engaging lessons about how a lunar rover works, the challenges of getting to the moon, the important of teamwork and collaboration, and aspiring to great things. The children were treated to a live rover demo, an illustrated story about sending a robot to the moon, and interactive storyboard, and photos with the rover.
