This past weekend, the Astrobotic team hosted students and their parents at Carnegie Mellon’s annual Family Weekend. The team welcomed all visitors to the Planetary Robotics High Bay, where the rover and the latest technological developments were on display.

Red Whittaker explains "Black Magic" -- the subscale device created to demonstrate the fusion of sensing from a down-looking camera and an inertial measurement unit to command the lander's attitude control thrusters on the way down to the lunar surface.
