Klaus von Storch, Team Leader Angelicum Chile gives an interview, explaining the steps to obtain his dream to be the first Chilean Astronaut
Today we have uploaded an interview performed by the Chilean TV Channel to our Team Leader, Team Angelicum Chile, Aerospace Engineer and Fist Chilean Astronaut Candidate.
This interview, performed at his offices in Santiago, contains the explanation of Mr Storch with respect to one special dream: To be an astronaut. Starting in the childhood and transiting to the youth and adult, the most important thing is to maintain the perseverance as a dreamer. However, the dream has not to be an obstacle to select normally a profession, a career and trying to be the best in all the things you do.
In this video, Klaus is shown with various personalities, Chilean and foreign space officials. We can see the Chilean President Mr Ricardo Lagos in the year 2000, Astronaut Neil Armstrong, The Space Russian Federation in the year 2002.
Also we can see Klaus performing parabolic Flights organized by the European Space Agency in the Zero G Airplane, as a mean to get training activities to the final goal: To Go to the Space (ISS).
We cannot forget all the activities done through the career in the Chilean Air Force. It can be seen Klaus in F 5 Combat Airplane.
In the mean time, we are working hard to present the Team Angelicum with its new members, specialists in different areas such as Orbit mechanics, mechanics structure, Propulsion and the most significant advancement related with the robot prototype Bigfoot worked by the “Universidad Austral de Chile” (Chilean Southern University).
Next time we will talk something about this.
